@dashbyictfd i had same issue but i was trying to connect to the table and not the database 1st,, connect to database, then connect to table with query

how do you echo the table headers to display on html page ? anyone? in his example it would be name and surname at top

I like the beginnings of this but my project oissue is that I need to run this as a cron job, I want to selcet certain values from a particular table in MySQL where there is an expirable, chick for wothijn 60-days of the expiration date and put the item into a Task Table. Essentially, I am trying to take data from one table that meets a certain criteria and move it to another. can you help with this?

that would be creating a username and password i assume…that is a lot more complex than this simple thing. you would need to create a login page, logout page, a register page, a close account page, a connect script and a submit script

If I wanted a web user to be able to add their name and surname to the database through a form on my website… How would I use php to allow them to post that data?
