Error in Apache installation?

Question by renuka d: Error in Apache installation?
while running the apache server I’m getting an error like this “ Only one usage of each socket address is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80 no listening sockets available, shutting down unable to open logs”. Why it is coming? and how to rectify this?

If it ever asks you for localhost’s IP address, just let it fill it in itself, or run ipconfig and find out what your IP address is and put it in.

    also, yahoo answers really isnt that great of a place to get technical details. try posting a message on an apache message board and make sure to tell them if you are trying to run apache on your own computer vs a web server

    hope this helps dont really know much in this area
