Question by june b: Are any of these valid html list types?definition, roman, numeric, alphabetic, and term?
Answer by Chris Gates
Roman and numeric are the same. Roman numerals are just a different numbering scheme. Changing the style type of the list, you can achieve different numbering schemes:
Alphabetic isn’t possible by HTML alone unless you place them in alphabetical order before creating the list. HTML is static, so it isn’t going to reorder the list for you.
Term appears to have nearly the same meaning as a definition list to me. A term has a definition, therefore it can use the definition list.
