There are many different ways that SEO is done. Sometimes focus is put on the pages of the site and other times focus is put on the links coming into your sites pages.

Is is not just helpful but a necessities. If your biz can’t be found on the search engine you don’t have credibilities. People online usually use traffic volume to judge how well a website is doing. And very very likely a lot of good targeted traffic are coming from search engine.

Yes, you should keep SEO in mind when designing and writing your pages so they can be found, but it is very difficult for new sites to make it to the top of the search results. Also spend some time getting links from other sites — it takes time, but that is what eventually gets you better results.
The short answer is yes, but it is much more complicated than that. SEO takes time and effort on the part of the website owner. If done correctly it is far superior to pay per click.
The problem with it is that people are generally unwilling to
1) have the patience to do it right
2) do the work necessary to get it right
3) stay the course and keep working at it.

Search Engine Optimization is a great way to get new visitors to take a chance and visit your site based, simply, on where it places among the search engine’s individual search results.
SEO is a relatively new traffic technique so new discoveries are being about it every day. Some simple research will keep you apprised of the new developments in the area.
Yes SEO is a very useful method for generating traffic for your website. However achieving top 10 rankings can take some time so it is best to combine it with a google adwords campaign.
It absolutely is!! Your site is new so it may not be indexed in Google or other search engines, It may not have even been crawled yet. So if you optimize it properly now, when it starts getting indexed the search engines will have a better idea of what your site is about and be able to index you more easily. Your keywords will rank higher than they would if you weren’t optimized at all. If people don’t find you within the first three pages, they won’t find you at all…that’s about as far as people search now.
If every page on your site has unique content and the titles and meta tags are also unique and relevant to each page, then the SE’s won’t find any problems.
Here are a few tips:
Sign up for Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, and when creating a sitemap, make sure it’s done after you’ve optimized all your pages, otherwise Google and the others will find all the problems with your site much faster than they would if you didn’t have one.
